What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Americas Best Value Inn Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the Brand Conference is required. Franchisees must attend the Brand Conference, which is convened no less frequently than every 24 months at a location designated by Americas Best Value Inn. The purpose of the Brand Conference is for franchisees and brand members to network and participate in educational seminars.
Americas Best Value Inn has the option to hold all training and the Brand Conference virtually at their discretion. The FDD states that attendance at required training and the Brand Conference will not be required for more than five days during any calendar year.
Prospective franchisees should note that while attendance at the Brand Conference is mandatory, Americas Best Value Inn retains the right to modify the format and location of the conference, including the option to conduct it virtually. This provides flexibility but also means franchisees must be prepared to adjust their schedules and travel arrangements as needed. Franchisees should inquire about the typical format and location of past Brand Conferences to better understand potential travel costs and time commitments.
