What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must submit all advertising and promotional materials to Alloy for approval before use. Alloy states that it will not unreasonably withhold approval of any sales promotion materials or media and activities if the materials are current, in good condition, in good taste, and accurately depict the Trademarks.
This means that as an Alloy franchisee, you are required to get approval for all marketing materials before you use them. If Alloy does not respond within 14 days after submission, the materials are considered not approved. However, Alloy provides some assurance that it will not unreasonably withhold approval, provided the materials meet certain standards.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand Alloy's standards for marketing materials. Ensuring that all promotional materials are current, in good condition and taste, and accurately represent Alloy's trademarks will help avoid potential delays or disapproval. Franchisees should factor in the 14-day approval window when planning marketing campaigns to ensure compliance with Alloy's requirements.
