What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may incur costs for on-site training under specific circumstances. Alloy will conduct virtual check-ins to ensure brand standards are met. However, if a franchisee requests on-site training, or if Alloy determines that on-site training is necessary, the franchisee may be required to pay Alloy's then-current daily on-site training fee.
In addition to the daily training fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all hotel and travel costs and expenses that Alloy incurs while providing the on-site training. This means that the total cost of on-site training can vary depending on the duration of the training, the location of the franchise, and the associated travel expenses.
Furthermore, Alloy may also require franchisees, their managers, and other key employees to attend ongoing training sessions at Alloy's training facility, the franchisee's facility, or another designated location. Attendance at these ongoing training sessions is at the franchisee's expense. If a franchisee requests additional training beyond the initial training program, they must pay Alloy's then-current daily training fee plus any associated expenses. These provisions ensure that Alloy franchisees maintain brand standards and stay updated on operational procedures, but it also represents a potentially significant ongoing cost for the franchisee.
