What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Alloy retains the right to change, improve, and further develop the System. The System encompasses specific equipment, fixtures, furnishings, materials, supplies, operational methods, uniform standards, specifications, procedures, management procedures, training, assistance, merchandising, advertising, and promotional programs. The Alloy System is identified by trademarks and includes a proprietary software application called the "Alloy App."
This means that Alloy franchisees must be prepared for potential changes to various aspects of their business operations, including the products and services offered, the methods used to operate the franchise, and the technology utilized. Alloy may implement these changes at its discretion, and franchisees are expected to adapt to them.
For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of flexibility and adaptability. While the Alloy franchise offers a defined system, it is not static. Franchisees should be prepared to invest in upgrades, training, and new equipment as Alloy evolves the System. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors seek to maintain brand consistency and competitiveness.
