What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Acknowledgment Addendum to the Alloy Franchise Agreement is not required in all states. Specifically, the document states that the addendum does not apply to candidates or businesses located in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
This means that if a prospective Alloy franchisee is looking to open a business in any of the listed states, they will not be required to complete the Acknowledgment Addendum. However, franchisees in other states will need to complete this addendum as part of their franchise agreement.
It is important for potential franchisees to understand which documents and addendums are applicable to their specific location to ensure they are meeting all requirements of the franchise agreement. Franchisees should carefully review the FDD and any related documents to determine their obligations.
