Has Alloy Personal Training Solutions, LLC ever offered franchises?

Alloy Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Our second affiliate is Alloy Personal Training Solutions, LLC ("APTS"), a Georgia limited liability company formed on April 20, 2011, and headquartered at our address. APTS has never offered franchises in this or any other line of business, is not an approved supplier of any product or service you must purchase or lease and does not own or operate a business of the type being franchised, although in the past it did offer licenses to health clubs and gyms for group training solutions that these health club and gym owners use as part of their health club facilities and gyms, none of which operate their businesses under the Alloy Proprietary Marks. Most of these owners were existing operators who had generally been in business for at least two years and the revenue derived from the group training was less than 20% of their overall business. APTS does own the Proprietary Marks, described below, which it has licensed to us so that we may sublicense them to our franchisees.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Alloy Franchise Disclosure Document, Alloy Personal Training Solutions, LLC (APTS), an affiliate of Alloy Personal Training, has never offered franchises. However, APTS did offer licenses to health clubs and gyms for group training solutions. These solutions were used as part of the health club facilities, but they did not operate under the Alloy Proprietary Marks.

Most of the owners who obtained licenses from APTS were existing operators who had been in business for at least two years. The revenue generated from the group training represented less than 20% of their overall business. APTS owns the Proprietary Marks, which it has licensed to Alloy Personal Training so that they may sublicense them to their franchisees.

This distinction is important for prospective Alloy franchisees because it clarifies that while the affiliate company, APTS, has experience with licensing a training program, it has not previously been involved in franchising. This means that Alloy Personal Training is the entity responsible for the franchise system being offered, and franchisees should direct their inquiries and expectations accordingly.
