What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Alloy Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to participate in Alloy's website, intranet, extranet, or other online communications. Alloy retains the right to determine the content and usage of its website, intranet, and extranet systems, and will set the rules for franchisee participation. Franchisees are responsible for the expenses associated with this participation.
Alloy provides template websites for franchisees to use, but only in accordance with Alloy's standards and guidelines. Franchisees cannot register domain names containing Alloy's trademarks separately, participate in websites marketing similar goods and services, or operate a website or social media site for their facility without linking to Alloy's website and receiving approval.
This requirement ensures that Alloy maintains brand consistency and control over its online presence. Franchisees must allocate resources for participating in these online platforms as directed by Alloy. This could include time, money, and personnel to manage their online presence according to Alloy's standards.
