What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must spend between $30,000 and $40,000 on a pre-sale and grand opening marketing campaign. This marketing campaign is designed to promote the opening of the Alloy facility. Therefore, the maximum amount required for the Alloy grand opening marketing campaign is $40,000.
The FDD specifies that this marketing spend must occur over 8 to 12 weeks before the Alloy facility's opening. These amounts are non-refundable under any circumstances. Alloy requires franchisees to follow a pre-sale marketing plan detailed in the Pre-sale Marketing Playbook within the Operations Manual.
Alloy may, at its discretion, request the $30,000-$40,000 grand opening marketing campaign funds from the franchisee and conduct the campaign on the franchisee's behalf. If Alloy takes on this responsibility, the funds are also non-refundable, and Alloy will ensure the entire amount is spent on the grand opening marketing campaign.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Pre-sale Marketing Playbook and discuss the grand opening marketing plan with Alloy to fully understand the requirements and ensure they are prepared to execute the campaign effectively, whether independently or through Alloy's management.
