Alloy Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Before you open your Franchised Business, we will:

  1. Train up to three people, the cost of which is included in your initial franchise fee (Franchise Agreement – Section 7.B). This training is described in detail later in this Item.

Approximately 90 days before your Franchised Business is scheduled to open, we will provide a mandatory series of virtual training sessions and a mandatory 4-day in person training program in the operation of your Franchised Business for up to three trainees, including you or your Operating Partner, your General Manager/Head Trainer, and one Trainer. All franchisees and their Operating Partners must attend and satisfactorily complete our training programs. If you wish to send additional trainees to our initial 4-day training program, you must pay our then-current training fee. The cost of providing our initial 4-day training program to the first three trainees (including you) is included in the initial franchise fee, but you must pay all expenses you and your trainees incur while attending our initial 4-day training program, including travel, lodging, meals and applicable wages.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee covers the training costs for up to three people. These trainees typically include the franchisee or their Operating Partner, the General Manager/Head Trainer, and one Trainer. Alloy provides a mandatory series of virtual training sessions and a mandatory 4-day in-person training program as part of this initial training.

However, franchisees are responsible for covering all expenses incurred by themselves and their trainees while attending the 4-day training program. These expenses include travel, lodging, meals, and any applicable wages. If a franchisee wishes to send additional trainees beyond the initial three, they must pay Alloy's then-current training fee for each additional person.

If a trainee fails to complete the training program satisfactorily, Alloy offers an opportunity to retake the program, or the franchisee can designate a new individual for training. However, Alloy reserves the right to charge the then-current training fee for any trainee repeating the program. Failure to successfully complete the training program after a second attempt may lead to termination of the Franchise Agreement without a refund of any portion of the initial franchise fee.
