Can the Alloy franchisee commence construction of the Facility before receiving written consent to their layout plans?

According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee cannot commence construction on any Facility until they have received written consent to their building plans from Alloy. This requirement is emphasized to ensure that each Facility adheres strictly to Alloy's approved specifications and standards regarding equipment, inventory, signage, fixtures, design, and building layout.

This stipulation is in place to maintain uniformity and quality across all Alloy locations, protecting the brand's image and the integrity of the Alloy system. It also ensures that the Facility complies with Alloy's requirements for dimensions, exterior and interior design, materials, equipment, fixtures, furniture, and signage, as detailed in the manuals.

Furthermore, any changes, replacements, reconstructions, additions, or modifications to the Facility's space, decor, equipment, or signage after the initial plan approval also require Alloy's prior written consent before commencement.
