What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must acknowledge that their financial success depends primarily on their and their management's and employees' personal efforts. The FDD states that franchisees recognize that the Alloy business venture involves business and economic risks.
Alloy franchisees must contribute to advertising and marketing programs in their designated local or regional market, if Alloy designates such markets. The franchisee must contribute the amount Alloy designates, or the cooperative designates if a cooperative is established. Any amounts the franchisee contributes to a local or regional advertising group or cooperative will count toward the local marketing requirement.
Furthermore, the FDD states that royalties are earned as a percentage of franchisee gross revenues over the term of the franchise agreement, as defined in each respective franchise agreement. Franchise royalties represent sales-based royalties that are related entirely to the use of Alloy's intellectual property and are recognized as franchisee sales occur and the royalty is deemed collectible. These factors, along with others, can impact the profitability of an Alloy franchise.
