  • D. “System” means the ALLOY System, which consists of specific equipment, fixtures, furnishings, materials and supplies; methods, uniform standards, specifications and procedures for operations; procedures for management; training and assistance; and merchandising, advertising and promotional programs and other proprietary information, all of which we may change, improve and further develop. The System is identified by the Trademarks. The System includes a proprietary software application (the “Alloy App”). What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Alloy maintains control over the System, which includes specific equipment, fixtures, furnishings, materials, and supplies. Alloy also sets the standards, specifications, and procedures for operations. This means that Alloy designates the approved suppliers and materials that franchisees must use.

Before starting construction on a facility, franchisees must submit building plans to Alloy for written consent. Franchisees must then purchase or lease approved building materials, equipment, fixtures, audio-visual equipment, furniture, and signage. Construction and remodeling must strictly adhere to Alloy's approved plans and specifications, as well as all applicable ordinances and building codes.

These requirements ensure uniformity across all Alloy franchise locations and help maintain brand consistency. While this limits a franchisee's autonomy in choosing suppliers and materials, it also provides a proven framework for setting up and operating the business. Franchisees should carefully review the approved supplier list and understand the associated costs to ensure they align with their budget and business goals.
