What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Alloy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee covers the cost of training for up to three people. Specifically, this includes the franchisee or their Operating Partner, the General Manager/Head Trainer, and one Trainer. This training consists of a mandatory series of virtual training sessions and a mandatory 4-day in-person training program.
However, franchisees are responsible for covering all expenses incurred while attending the initial 4-day training program. These expenses include travel, lodging, meals, and any applicable wages for the trainees. If a franchisee wishes to send additional trainees beyond the initial three, they must pay Alloy's then-current training fee for each additional person.
Alloy also provides refresher training programs at least annually, which may be mandatory for the Operating Partner, General Manager, and/or other personnel. While Alloy does not anticipate charging a fee for these refresher training programs, franchisees are responsible for all expenses their trainees incur, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages. Refresher training is expected to not exceed five days in any calendar year.
