What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Team's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, All Team reserves the right to mandate that franchisees update or upgrade their hardware or software. This can occur to ensure the franchisee's agency conforms to new standards or specifications set by All Team. The FDD specifies that as technology improves, franchisees will be required to upgrade or purchase new equipment.
This requirement is significant for prospective franchisees as it means they must be prepared to invest further in their technology infrastructure throughout the term of their franchise agreement. The timing and specifics of these updates or upgrades are determined by All Team. The franchisee is responsible for covering the expenses associated with these updates and upgrades.
While the FDD provides a general cost estimate for optional or required maintenance, updates, and upgrades to the computer system, ranging from $0 to $500 per year paid to third-party vendors, this does not include the cost of potential hardware or software upgrades mandated by All Team. Therefore, franchisees should budget for potential technology-related expenses beyond the initial investment and annual maintenance costs.
Prospective All Team franchisees should seek clarification from All Team regarding the frequency, scope, and estimated costs of required hardware and software updates to better understand the potential financial implications. Understanding these requirements will help in accurately forecasting expenses and ensuring the long-term viability of the franchise.
