What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Team's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company offers continuing advisory assistance to franchisees for the operation of their franchise. However, if a franchisee requests this advisory assistance, All Team reserves the right to charge a 'reasonable fee' for the service. In addition to the fee, the franchisee will be responsible for covering any travel expenses incurred by All Team employees while providing the advisory assistance, including transportation, lodging, meals, and other related expenses.
The FDD does not specify a particular dollar amount or method for determining what constitutes a 'reasonable fee'. This lack of specificity means that the actual cost of advisory assistance can vary. It depends on the nature and extent of the assistance needed, as well as All Team's assessment of what is reasonable in each situation. This could create uncertainty for franchisees, as they may not know the potential cost of seeking additional support.
Prospective All Team franchisees should inquire about the typical range of fees charged for advisory assistance. They should also ask for examples of situations that would warrant such fees. Understanding how these fees are determined and what factors influence their cost can help franchisees budget effectively and avoid unexpected expenses. It is important to clarify these details before entering into a franchise agreement to ensure a clear understanding of potential costs associated with ongoing support.
