Who pays for travel and living expenses associated with additional training provided by All Team?

All_Team Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We, although not obligated to do so, may from time to time require that previously trained and experienced franchisees or their managers, attend and successfully complete Refresher Training Programs or seminars to be conducted at our principal office or such other locations that we will designate. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for the Refresher Training Programs or any such additional training. You must pay the travel and living expenses and wages for you and your employees. So long as you are not in default under the Franchise Agreement, we will at reasonable times train a reasonable number of your new employees or their trainers at our corporate offices. However, you will pay all transportation, lodging, meals and other expenses incurred by you and your employees in obtaining such additional training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to All Team's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for covering the travel and living expenses, as well as the wages, for themselves and their employees when attending Refresher Training Programs or any other additional training programs. All Team may require franchisees or their managers to attend these programs, which are held at All Team's principal office or other designated locations. All Team reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for these refresher or additional training programs.

Even when All Team trains new employees or their trainers at its corporate offices, the franchisee must cover all associated costs. This includes transportation, lodging, meals, and any other expenses incurred by the franchisee and their employees to obtain such additional training.

This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisees are generally considered independent business owners responsible for their own operational costs, including training-related expenses. Prospective All Team franchisees should factor in these potential costs when budgeting for ongoing training and development of their staff.
