Is All Team obligated to recommend vendors or provide computer advice to franchisees?
All_Team Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We are not obligated to, but may choose to recommend vendors and/or provide computer advice.
Computer System
You must purchase at least 1 computer (desktop or laptop) for each administrative employee working in the office. You must also purchase a multi-function (copy/ scan/ print) machine. An additional laser printer, as approved by us, is required if you choose to print payroll checks in your office. (Any equipment must be approved by us.) The costs are between $1,800 - $2,500. Pay cards are highly recommended. You must also have each computer connected to a High-speed internet line in order to access the required staffing software and email. We are under no obligation to provide you with any ongoing service related to your equipment but may provide advice or assist where possible. We reserve the right to require you, at your expense and in the timeframe we determine, to update or upgrade the hardware or software you use in your Agency to conform to new standards or specifications. As technology improves, you will be required to upgrade or purchase new equipment.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Team's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, All Team is not obligated to recommend vendors or provide computer advice to franchisees. The FDD states, "We are not obligated to, but may choose to recommend vendors and/or provide computer advice." This means that while All Team has the option to assist franchisees with vendor selection and computer-related matters, it is not a contractual requirement.
Additionally, the FDD clarifies All Team is under no obligation to provide ongoing service related to franchisee equipment but may provide advice or assistance where possible. However, All Team retains the right to mandate updates or upgrades to hardware or software at the franchisee's expense to maintain conformity with new standards. As technology advances, franchisees will be required to upgrade or purchase new equipment.
For a prospective All Team franchisee, this implies that they should not rely on guaranteed support from All Team regarding vendor recommendations or computer advice. Franchisees should be prepared to independently research and select vendors and manage their computer systems, although All Team may offer assistance at its discretion. Budgeting for potential hardware and software upgrades will also be necessary to keep pace with technological advancements and All Team's evolving standards.
