If an All Team franchisee wants to change the location of their office, what is required?
All_Team Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You have the right to select the site of the office for the Agency but we must approve the location. If you want to change the location of your office you must obtain our written consent first, which we may withhold in our sole discretion. Such requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, including consideration of whether you are currently in compliance with your Franchise Agreement, territory availability, and other fact-specific considerations..

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Team's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must first obtain written consent from All Team if they want to change the location of their office. All Team may withhold this consent at their sole discretion.
The FDD states that All Team evaluates such requests on a case-by-case basis. This evaluation includes considering whether the franchisee is currently complying with the Franchise Agreement, the availability of territory, and other specific factors. This means that even if a franchisee finds a better location, All Team has the right to deny the move if they deem it unsuitable for reasons such as a breach of contract or territorial concerns.
This requirement is fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors typically want to control brand consistency and avoid cannibalization between franchise locations. Prospective All Team franchisees should carefully consider the implications of this clause, as it limits their flexibility in choosing and changing their office location. It would be prudent to discuss with All Team the specific criteria they use to evaluate relocation requests to better understand the likelihood of approval in different scenarios.
