What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Team's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is indeed responsible for all employment decisions and functions within their agency. This encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including hiring, firing, training, managing wage and hour requirements, maintaining records, supervising employees, and enforcing disciplinary actions. The franchisee is also obligated to inform their employees of these requirements. This indicates that All Team franchisees have significant autonomy in managing their workforce, but they must also adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to employment.
This level of responsibility means that prospective All Team franchisees should be prepared to handle all aspects of human resources management. They will need to develop a strong understanding of employment laws, best practices for hiring and training, and effective strategies for managing and motivating employees. Franchisees should also be prepared to invest time and resources into these areas, as the success of their agency will depend in part on their ability to build and manage a competent and reliable team.
While All Team grants franchisees significant control over employment decisions, it's important to note that franchisees must still adhere to the company's mandatory policies, practices, procedures, regulations, and standards. These standards are outlined in the Confidential Operating Manual and other materials provided by All Team, and they may be modified from time to time. This ensures that all All Team agencies operate in a consistent and compliant manner, while still allowing franchisees the flexibility to manage their own employees.
