What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Team's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the General Release benefits All Team Franchise Corporation, referred to as the Franchisor, and extends to various related parties. The General Release is made by the Releasor, who is an All Team franchisee.
Specifically, the General Release extends to and benefits All Team's past, present, and future officers, directors, owners, employees, representatives, agents, trustees, successors, affiliates, and assigns, including their respective insurers and underwriters. This means that not only does All Team as a corporate entity benefit, but also the individuals and entities associated with the company in various capacities are protected by the release.
The Releasor, in signing the General Release, agrees to release and discharge the Franchisor and the aforementioned parties from any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, and costs related to the Franchise Agreement or the franchisor-franchisee relationship. However, if the General Release is connected to a renewal, assignment, or transfer of the Franchise Agreement, the release does not apply to any liability under any state franchise law governing the release. This ensures that franchisees do not waive rights granted to them by state franchise laws in such transactions.
