What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Team's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, ATFC has unlimited rights to remotely access the All Team software and all information contained within it. Specifically, ATFC may use the information contained in the franchisee's copy of the software for any purpose it deems appropriate. This includes disseminating such information to ATFC's creditors and potential franchisees, as long as it complies with applicable laws.
This provision grants All Team significant access and control over a franchisee's data. While this access is framed as a right of the franchisor, it also implies that All Team will be actively involved in the technological aspects of the franchise, potentially offering support, updates, and oversight. The franchisee must be aware that their operational data is accessible to All Team and may be shared with third parties under certain conditions.
Franchisees are responsible for the costs of licensing, installing, operating, maintaining, and upgrading the software. In addition to these costs, franchisees must pay a weekly Technology Fee to All Team, which covers items such as remote access, licenses, and system support. This fee is set at $100 per week, but All Team retains the right to increase this fee annually with written notice to the franchisee, reflecting the ever-changing nature of technology.
Given All Team's broad rights to access and use franchisee data, prospective franchisees should carefully consider the implications for their business operations and data privacy. It would be prudent to inquire about the specific purposes for which All Team uses franchisee data, the measures in place to protect data security, and the circumstances under which data may be shared with third parties. Understanding these aspects will help a franchisee make an informed decision about investing in an All Team franchise.
