What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to All States M.E.D.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, All States M.E.D. does retain the right to vary standards or specifications for individual franchisees. This means that the specific requirements for operating an All States M.E.D. business can differ from one franchisee to another.

The FDD states that All States M.E.D. can make these variations based on a franchisee's qualifications, the specific location, the demographics of the trade area, the business potential, existing business practices, or any other condition that All States M.E.D. considers important for the success of that particular All States M.E.D. business.

However, the FDD also specifies that All States M.E.D. is not obligated to disclose or grant the same or similar variances to other franchisees. This implies that a franchisee may not be entitled to the same exceptions or modifications granted to another, even if their circumstances appear similar. This clause provides All States M.E.D. with considerable flexibility in adapting the franchise system to different market conditions and franchisee capabilities, but it also introduces an element of potential inconsistency and preferential treatment among franchisees.
