What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 All States M.E.D. Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for training its management and other employees. However, All States M.E.D. provides an initial training program for up to 3 employees of the franchisee. This initial training covers the operation and administration of the franchised business and is conducted at a location designated by All States M.E.D.

While All States M.E.D. does not charge tuition for this initial training, the franchisee is responsible for all expenses incurred by attending the training program. These expenses include travel costs, room and board, and employee salaries. If the franchisee or their manager fails to complete the initial training program satisfactorily, All States M.E.D. has the right to terminate the agreement and retain the franchise fee. In the case of a business entity, a substitute manager may be selected, but they must also complete the initial training to All States M.E.D.'s satisfaction.

All States M.E.D. may also provide ongoing training programs, seminars, conferences, conventions, or webinars, which the franchisee may be required to attend. The franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with ongoing training, which are $250 per person per day if the training is at All States M.E.D.'s location, or $250 per person per day plus travel expenses if the training is at the franchisee's location. All States M.E.D. will lend the franchisee a copy of the Operations Manual, which contains the standards, methods, and procedures for operating the franchise. However, the franchisee is solely responsible for the day-to-day supervision and control of their employees.
