What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to All States M.E.D.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to use products, services, or new technology that All States M.E.D. hasn't approved, they must first provide All States M.E.D. with enough information, specifications, and samples. This allows All States M.E.D. to assess whether the service or product meets their standards and specifications, or if the supplier meets their criteria for being an approved supplier.
The franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses All States M.E.D. incurs while determining whether to approve the item, service, or supplier, but these expenses will not exceed $1,000.00. All States M.E.D. will then decide within a reasonable time, typically 30 days after receiving the necessary information, whether the franchisee can purchase or lease the items or services from the proposed supplier.
All States M.E.D.'s approval of a supplier may depend on factors such as the supplier's ability to provide sufficient quantities of the product, the quality of products or services at competitive prices, their production and delivery capabilities, and their overall dependability and reputation. However, All States M.E.D. is not obligated to approve any particular supplier or to disclose confidential standards and specifications to prospective suppliers. This process ensures that All States M.E.D. maintains consistent quality and standards across all its franchises while allowing franchisees to suggest new products or services.
