What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 All States M.E.D. Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire includes a question asking whether you have personally reviewed the Franchise Disclosure Document. Specifically, question 3 on the questionnaire asks: "Have you received and personally reviewed the Franchise Disclosure Document we provided?" You must answer either "Yes" or "No" to this question.
This indicates that All States M.E.D. wants to confirm that prospective franchisees have taken the time to read and understand the FDD before investing in a franchise. This is a standard practice in franchising, as the FDD contains important information about the franchise system, including fees, obligations, and risks.
In addition to confirming receipt and review of the FDD, the questionnaire also asks whether you understand all the information contained in the Franchise Agreement and the Franchise Disclosure Document, and whether you have reviewed these documents with a professional advisor. It also asks about your understanding of the risks involved in developing and operating the franchise and your acknowledgement that your success depends on your own skills and efforts.
