What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure their employees are aware of and adhere to confidentiality obligations. Specifically, franchisees must only divulge confidential information to employees on a need-to-know basis. This obligation extends beyond the termination or expiration of the franchise agreement.
All Dogs Unleashed franchisees are required to maintain the confidentiality of all confidential information related to the All Dogs Unleashed system. This includes proprietary training methods, marketing strategies, and operational procedures. Franchisees must limit the disclosure of this information to their employees, only sharing what is essential for them to perform their duties within the franchised business.
This requirement ensures that the All Dogs Unleashed system's proprietary information remains protected, preventing it from being disseminated to competitors or used in ways that could harm the brand. By limiting access to confidential information on a need-to-know basis, franchisees can minimize the risk of unauthorized disclosure and maintain the integrity of the All Dogs Unleashed system. This is a common practice in franchising to protect intellectual property and maintain a competitive advantage.
Furthermore, any improvements or new concepts developed by the franchisee, their employees, or owners related to the operation or promotion of the All Dogs Unleashed business must be promptly reported to the franchisor. These improvements become the sole property of All Dogs Unleashed, reinforcing the importance of maintaining confidentiality and proper channels for innovation within the franchise system.
