What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company can terminate the Area Development Agreement (ADA) with cause under specific circumstances, as detailed in Section 5.2 of the agreement. These circumstances are divided into defaults that can be cured and those that cannot.
For curable defaults, All Dogs Unleashed will provide a 15-day notice to allow the franchisee to correct the issue. However, for non-curable defaults, All Dogs Unleashed has the right to terminate the ADA immediately upon notification.
Non-curable defaults, also known as Material Defaults, include failing to meet the Minimum Development Obligations, engaging in conduct that damages the goodwill associated with All Dogs Unleashed's marks or harms the brand's reputation, termination or uncured default of any Franchise Agreement involving the franchisee or its affiliates, violating confidentiality or noncompetition covenants, and failing to cure any other default within the 15-day notice period.
