What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement will terminate automatically if the franchisee becomes insolvent or declares bankruptcy.
All Dogs Unleashed can terminate the franchise agreement without providing an opportunity to cure the default if certain conditions are met. These conditions include if the Operating Principal, General Manager, or Assistant Manager fails to successfully complete the initial training program. Termination can also occur if the franchisee fails to commence operations within the required time period or abandons the franchised business. Further reasons for termination without opportunity to cure include losing the license to operate the franchised business or occupy the premises, certain criminal acts by the franchisee or their owners, violating transfer restrictions, or failing to comply with confidentiality or non-compete obligations.
Additional causes for termination without opportunity to cure involve misrepresentations on the franchise application, an imminent threat to public or animal health and safety resulting from the business's operation, misstating gross sales or maintaining false accounting records, misusing the All Dogs Unleashed Marks or Copyrighted Works, offering unauthorized products or services, purchasing products or services from unapproved sources, failing two or more quality assurance inspections within a 12-month period, or receiving two default notices within a 12-month period.
