What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, "Total Gross Revenue" is defined as all gross revenues generated by commercial facilities. This includes revenue from the sale of all goods and services, less any sales tax, discounts, allowances, and returns, during a specified reporting period.
Notably, the calculation of Total Gross Revenue also incorporates reimbursements paid to the commercial facilities for veterinary services provided. These veterinary service payments are initially made by the facilities directly to the veterinary practice, and are then billed to the customer for reimbursement to the All Dogs Unleashed location.
For a prospective All Dogs Unleashed franchisee, understanding this definition is crucial for accurately tracking and reporting financial performance. It ensures that franchisees are clear on what constitutes revenue and how to account for deductions and reimbursements, which ultimately affects royalty payments and overall financial assessments.
