- A. Franchisor has acquired the license to use and to sublicense the use of a business format and system ("System") for a business that provides dog obedience and behavioral modification training, grooming, and boarding services under the trade name and service mark "ALL DOGS UNLEASHED."
- B. The distinguishing characteristics of the System include, without limitation, proprietary training methods, advertising and marketing specifications and requirements, and other Standards designated by Franchisor for developing, operating and managing an ALL DOGS UNLEASHED Facility, all of which may be changed, improved, and further developed by Franchisor from time to time.
- C. The System is identified by means of certain trademarks, service marks, logos, slogans, trade dress, and other indicia of origin, including, without limitation, the service mark "ALL DOGS UNLEASHED," and such other trademarks, service marks, logos, slogans, and trade dress that may hereafter be designated by Franchisor in writing for use in connection with the System (the "Marks").

The characteristics of the All Dogs Unleashed System include proprietary training methods, advertising and marketing specifications and requirements, and other standards designated by All Dogs Unleashed for developing, operating, and managing an All Dogs Unleashed Facility. These characteristics and standards can be changed, improved, and further developed by All Dogs Unleashed over time.
The All Dogs Unleashed System is identified through trademarks, service marks, logos, slogans, trade dress, and other indicators of origin, including the service mark "ALL DOGS UNLEASHED." All Dogs Unleashed also has the right to establish specifications for various aspects of the System. These specifications include location selection, the physical characteristics of the facility, operating procedures, products and services offered, supplier qualifications, training, and marketing.
As an All Dogs Unleashed franchisee, you must comply with the franchisor's specifications, which All Dogs Unleashed has the right to change and modify over time. All Dogs Unleashed will provide you with a copy of the manuals, and you must operate the franchised business according to the standards, methods, policies, and procedures outlined in these manuals. The manuals remain the sole property of All Dogs Unleashed and must be kept secure and current. If the manuals are lost or destroyed, or not returned upon termination of the agreement, there is a $500 replacement fee per manual.
