Who must successfully complete the initial training program before an All Dogs Unleashed franchise can open?

- 3.4. Opening. You must begin operating the Franchised Business no later than the "Projected Opening Date" reflected in the Summary Pages. You may begin operating the Facility only with prior written permission of Franchisor, which will be granted only if (a) all amounts due Franchisor under this Agreement have been paid, (b) the Facility has been constructed and equipped according to Franchisor's standards and specifications, (c) all of your pre-opening and training obligations have been satisfied, (d) Franchisor has received from you a signed ACH Authorization (Attachment E); (e) if you are leasing the Franchised Location, Franchisor has received from you a fully executed copy of your Commercial Training Facility lease containing the mandatory lease terms described in Attachment F; (f) Franchisor has received from you required insurance certificates; (g) your Operating Principal, General Manager (if applicable), and Assistant Manager have successfully completed the initial training program; and (h) you are otherwise in good standing under this Agreement.
- 3.5. Relocation. You may relocate the Commercial Training Facility only with Franchisor's prior written consent. If Franchisor consents to relocation of the Commercial Training Facility, you shall pay Franchisor a $3,000 relocation fee and reimburse Franchisor all out-of-pocket costs that it incurs in connection with such relocation. Franchisor will grant its consent if your lease expires or terminates through no fault of yours, or if the Commercial Training Facility premises is destroyed or materially damaged by fire, flood, or natural catastrophe ("Innocent Loss or Casualty") and you are not in default of this Agreement or any other agreement between you and Franchisor or its affiliates. Selection of the relocation site and Commercial Training Facility construction, renovation, and opening shall be governed by this Article 3;

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, the Operating Principal, General Manager (if different than the Operating Principal), and Assistant Manager must attend and successfully complete the initial training program to the Franchisor's satisfaction before the Franchised Business can begin operations.
All Dogs Unleashed will hold the initial training program at a location and time that they designate. The franchise covers the cost of training for three attendees; however, All Dogs Unleashed reserves the right to charge $50.00 per attendee to cover the cost of training materials. The franchisee is responsible for all other training-related costs, including tuition and registration costs, salary, travel, lodging, and dining expenses for each individual attending the training.
If the Operating Principal, General Manager, or Assistant Manager fails to complete the training program to All Dogs Unleashed's satisfaction, All Dogs Unleashed may terminate the Franchise Agreement. Before opening, the franchisee must also pay all amounts due to All Dogs Unleashed, construct and equip the facility according to their standards, fulfill all pre-opening and training obligations, provide a signed ACH Authorization, and, if leasing, provide a fully executed copy of the commercial training facility lease with mandatory lease terms.
