Does All Dogs Unleashed have site selection criteria for the Franchised Business location?

Training Facility
You must acquire a site for the Franchised Business within your Service Area that meets our site selection criteria and that we approve. If you occupy the Commercial Training Facility according to a commercial lease, the lease must contain terms that we specify. (See Lease Addendum attached as Attachment F to the franchise agreement). You must construct, equip, and improve the Commercial Training Facility according to our current standards and specifications. We must review and approve all final plans and specifications before you begin constructing the Commercial Training Facility. We may inspect the Commercial Training Facility during its development and require reasonable alterations to ensure it complies with our plans and specifications.
Insurance
You must acquire and maintain insurance of the type and with minimum limits that we require. Our required coverage currently includes: (i) bodily injury/property damage general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate;

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must acquire a site for their Franchised Business that meets the franchisor's site selection criteria, and that All Dogs Unleashed approves. The FDD also states that franchisees must use a Real Estate Project Manager designated by All Dogs Unleashed to manage real estate brokerage services, site selection counseling, and other assistance, including on-site evaluations.
If the franchisee occupies a Commercial Training Facility according to a commercial lease, the lease terms must align with All Dogs Unleashed's specifications. Furthermore, the franchisee is responsible for constructing, equipping, and improving the Commercial Training Facility according to All Dogs Unleashed's current standards and specifications.
All Dogs Unleashed requires that franchisees submit final plans and specifications for review and approval before starting construction. All Dogs Unleashed retains the right to inspect the Commercial Training Facility during its development and can mandate reasonable alterations to ensure compliance with their plans and specifications. This ensures that each location aligns with the brand's standards and operational requirements.
