What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for obtaining the necessary permits for their location. Specifically, the franchisee must ensure the site conforms to local ordinances and building codes.
This means that prospective All Dogs Unleashed franchisees need to budget time and money for this task. They will need to research local regulations, submit applications, and potentially pay fees to various municipal departments. This process can be complex and may require the assistance of professionals such as architects, contractors, or permit expediters.
It is important for franchisees to understand these responsibilities upfront, as failure to obtain the required permits can result in delays in opening the business, fines, or even legal action. The franchisee is also responsible for the costs associated with conforming the site to All Dogs Unleashed's standards, including construction, remodeling, and decorating.
