What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, All Dogs Unleashed retains the right to modify its 'Specifications' over time. These specifications cover various aspects of the franchise system, including location selection, facility characteristics, operating procedures, products and services, supplier qualifications, training, and marketing.
This means that as an All Dogs Unleashed franchisee, you must adhere to the specifications set by the franchisor, and these specifications are subject to change. These changes can impact various aspects of your business, from the physical layout of your facility to the products and services you offer.
The FDD emphasizes that franchisees must comply with these specifications and acknowledges that All Dogs Unleashed has the right to, and expects to, change and modify them over time. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, allowing the franchisor to adapt to market changes, improve the system, and maintain brand consistency. However, it also means franchisees must be prepared to adapt their businesses to meet new requirements, which could involve additional investment or changes to operational procedures.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the implications of these potential changes and discuss with All Dogs Unleashed how frequently specifications have been updated in the past and what types of changes have been implemented. Understanding the franchisor's approach to evolving the system is crucial for assessing the long-term suitability of the franchise opportunity.
