What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor, ADU Franchise Limited Liability Company, owns the intranet facility and all communications posted on it. The FDD specifies that as the administrator of the intranet, All Dogs Unleashed can access and view any communication posted. Furthermore, all content posted becomes the property of All Dogs Unleashed, without any claims of privacy from franchisees or other individuals.
This means that as a franchisee, any communication you post on the All Dogs Unleashed intranet is accessible to the franchisor and becomes their property. You cannot claim privacy or privilege over your posts. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors often need to monitor internal communications for quality control, compliance, and brand consistency.
All Dogs Unleashed may suspend a franchisee's access to the intranet's chat rooms, bulletin boards, or listservs if the franchisee fails to pay amounts due to All Dogs Unleashed or comply with intranet policies. This provision gives All Dogs Unleashed a mechanism to enforce compliance and maintain control over its internal communications platform.
