What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must notify the franchisor in writing within 10 days of any change to the information set forth in Attachment C of the franchise agreement. Attachment C likely contains information about the franchisee's business structure, ownership, and contact details. This requirement ensures that All Dogs Unleashed maintains accurate records and can effectively communicate with its franchisees.
Additionally, the franchise agreement specifies that All Dogs Unleashed may designate trademarks, service marks, logos, slogans, and trade dress for use in connection with the System in writing. This allows All Dogs Unleashed to formally communicate and update the branding elements that franchisees are authorized to use. By providing these designations in writing, All Dogs Unleashed ensures clarity and avoids potential disputes regarding brand standards.
While these sections explicitly require written communication for specific scenarios, the FDD does not contain a blanket statement requiring all notices, demands, or communications related to the franchise agreement to be in writing. A prospective franchisee should clarify with All Dogs Unleashed what other forms of communication are acceptable and whether written records are recommended for all important interactions to ensure clarity and documentation.
