- "Total Gross Revenue" means all gross revenues generated by the Commercial Facilities attributed to the sale of all goods and services less sales tax, discounts, allowances, and returns during the Reporting Period, as reported to us by the Commercial Facilities. Total Gross Revenues also includes reimbursements paid to the Commercial Facilities during the Reporting Period for veterinary services provided to the Commercial Facility. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Total Gross Revenue' for commercial facilities encompasses all gross revenues generated from the sale of goods and services. This figure is calculated by subtracting sales tax, discounts, allowances, and returns from the total revenue generated during the reporting period. The revenue figures are reported to All Dogs Unleashed by the commercial facilities themselves.
In addition to the revenue from sales, the 'Total Gross Revenue' also includes reimbursements paid to the commercial facilities for veterinary services. These veterinary services are initially paid for by the facilities directly to the veterinary practice. The cost is then billed to the customer, and the reimbursement is included in the total gross revenue calculation.
For a prospective All Dogs Unleashed franchisee, understanding this definition is crucial for accurately tracking and reporting financial performance. It ensures that franchisees are aware of what constitutes revenue and how it should be calculated for royalty payments and other financial reporting obligations to the franchisor. Franchisees should ensure they have accounting systems in place to properly track all components of gross revenue, including sales, discounts, and veterinary service reimbursements.
