Answer from 2025 FDD Document

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a payment due date falls on a non-business day, the payment is due on the next business day. This applies to all payments required under the Franchise Agreement.

This clause provides a slight flexibility for franchisees, ensuring they are not penalized for payments due on weekends or holidays. However, franchisees must still ensure timely payments, as any payments not received by All Dogs Unleashed by the adjusted due date will accrue interest. The interest rate is 18% per annum, or the highest lawful interest rate permitted in the jurisdiction where the franchised business operates, whichever is less.

Franchisees are also required to participate in All Dogs Unleashed's electronic funds transfer program, authorizing the company to use a pre-authorized bank draft system. Franchisees must maintain sufficient funds in their account for withdrawal by electronic funds transfer no later than the due date for each payment. Failure to do so constitutes a material breach of the Franchise Agreement.
