What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while the franchisor has the right to approve the site for the Facility, there is no mention of a guarantee of success based on this approval. The franchisor maintains the right to approve the site and can prescribe certain lease terms, conditioning site approval on the inclusion of these terms. This approval process is part of ensuring the facility meets the brand's standards and operational requirements.
However, the FDD does not state or imply that this site approval translates into a guarantee of the facility's financial success. Site approval is more about ensuring brand consistency and operational suitability rather than guaranteeing profitability. The franchisor's involvement in site selection and lease terms aims to protect the brand's image and ensure that the location is appropriate for the All Dogs Unleashed business model.
A prospective franchisee should, therefore, not assume that site approval equates to a guarantee of success. It is essential to conduct thorough market research, develop a comprehensive business plan, and understand all the factors that can influence the success of the All Dogs Unleashed facility in the chosen location. Franchisees should directly discuss with All Dogs Unleashed what factors they consider during site approval and how that process contributes to the potential success of a franchise location.
