- 3.3 Franchise Agreement Signing Requirements. For each Facility you must develop under this Agreement, you (or a Developer Affiliate we approve) must sign our then-current form of Franchise Agreement, which agreement may contain materially different terms from the form of Franchise Agreement attached to the FDD provided to you before you signed this Agreement, and pay the then-current initial franchise fee and other initial fees due under that Franchise Agreement on or before the Signing Deadline for that Facility, even if you have not yet obtained an approved site or an approved lease.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, for each facility a franchisee develops, they must sign the then-current form of the Franchise Agreement and pay the then-current initial franchise fee and other initial fees on or before the Signing Deadline for that facility. This payment schedule applies even if the franchisee has not yet secured an approved site or lease.
This requirement means that franchisees must be prepared to pay the initial franchise fee before finalizing key aspects of the facility, such as location and lease terms. This could present a financial risk if a suitable site cannot be found or if lease negotiations fall through after the fee has been paid.
Prospective All Dogs Unleashed franchisees should carefully consider this payment timeline and ensure they have sufficient capital to cover the initial franchise fee, even if site selection and lease negotiations are still in progress. It would be prudent to discuss the implications of this policy with existing franchisees and to seek clarification from All Dogs Unleashed regarding the potential for refunds or alternative arrangements if unforeseen circumstances prevent the opening of the facility.
