Does the All Dogs Unleashed franchise agreement specify which Affiliate owns the Marks?

According to the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement specifies that ADU Franchise Limited Liability Company or its affiliates own the trademarks, service marks, logos and other indicia of origin prescribed by All Dogs Unleashed, which are collectively known as the "Marks".

This means that All Dogs Unleashed, as the Franchisor, either directly owns the rights to the All Dogs Unleashed brand and associated trademarks, or it has obtained the rights to license these from an affiliated company. As a franchisee, you are granted the right to use these Marks to operate your All Dogs Unleashed franchise, but you do not own them.

All Dogs Unleashed also retains the right to develop other concepts and grant franchises under those concepts, including in the franchisee's development area. They can also use and license others to engage in activities not expressly prohibited in the agreement. Furthermore, All Dogs Unleashed has the right to sell merchandise and equipment through any outlet without restriction, including in the Development Area.
