  • 8.3.

Confidentiality.

You shall maintain the confidentiality of all Confidential Information.

You shall use Confidential Information only in connection with the operation of the Franchised Business, and shall divulge Confidential Information only to your employees and only on a need to know basis.

This obligation shall survive termination or expiration (without renewal) of this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed FDD, franchisees are required to maintain the confidentiality of all information designated as "Confidential Information." Franchisees are permitted to use this Confidential Information only in connection with operating their All Dogs Unleashed franchise. They may only share it with employees who need to know the information to perform their duties. This confidentiality obligation remains in effect even after the franchise agreement expires or is terminated.

All Dogs Unleashed may disseminate updates to the manuals and other confidential information through an intranet or extranet system. As the administrator of the intranet, All Dogs Unleashed can access and view any communication posted on it, and all communications posted to the intranet become the franchisor's property, without any claims of privacy or privilege.

In the franchise agreement, the distinguishing characteristics of the All Dogs Unleashed System include proprietary training methods, advertising and marketing specifications and requirements, and other standards designated by All Dogs Unleashed for developing, operating, and managing a facility. These characteristics, along with the manuals, are deemed confidential.
