What constitutes Confidential Information for an All Dogs Unleashed franchise?

According to the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain the confidentiality of all Confidential Information related to the franchise. Franchisees are permitted to use this Confidential Information only in connection with operating their All Dogs Unleashed franchise. They can only share this information with employees who need to know it for their job duties. This confidentiality obligation remains in effect even after the franchise agreement expires or is terminated without renewal.

All Dogs Unleashed provides franchisees with manuals that contain standards, methods, policies, and procedures for operating the franchise. These manuals remain the sole property of All Dogs Unleashed and must be kept secure. Franchisees must keep their manuals current, and the master copy maintained by All Dogs Unleashed will be controlling in case of any disputes about the contents. If a manual is lost, destroyed, or not returned upon expiration or termination of the agreement, the franchisee must pay a $500 replacement fee per manual.

All Dogs Unleashed may modify its system, confidential manuals, and the products and services offered. Franchisees must comply with these modifications at their own expense. All Dogs Unleashed will notify franchisees of any system changes, and franchisees must implement these changes within a reasonable timeframe specified by All Dogs Unleashed. Additionally, all Customer Information belongs exclusively to All Dogs Unleashed. Franchisees can use this information for the benefit of their franchise but for no other purpose, and must return all materials containing customer information upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, keeping only a copy to comply with legal and tax requirements.
