Can All Dogs Unleashed change or improve the proprietary training methods of the System?

B. The distinguishing characteristics of the System include, without limitation, proprietary training methods, advertising and marketing specifications and requirements, and other Standards designated by Franchisor for developing, operating and managing an ALL DOGS UNLEASHED Facility, all of which may be changed, improved, and further developed by Franchisor from time to time.
8.1. Manuals. Franchisor will provide you on loan one copy of the Manuals. You shall operate the Franchised Business in accordance with the standards, methods, policies, and procedures specified in the Manuals. The Manuals shall at all times remain the sole property of Franchisor and shall be kept in a secure place. You shall ensure that your copy of the Manuals are kept current at all times, and in the event of any dispute as to the contents of the Manuals, the terms of the master copy of the Manuals maintained by Franchisor shall be controlling. If your copy of the Manuals is lost or destroyed, or if you fail to return the Manuals upon expiration or termination of this Agreement, you must pay us a $500 replacement fee per Manual.
8.2. System Modification. You acknowledge that the System, Franchisor's confidential Manuals, and the products and services offered by the Franchised Business may be modified, (such as, but not limited to, the addition, deletion, and modification of operating procedures, products and services) from time to time by Franchisor. You agree to comply, at your expense, with all such modifications. Franchisor shall notify you of any such System changes and you shall implement any System changes upon receipt of notice thereof from Franchisor, and shall complete their implementation within such time as Franchisor may reasonably specify.
8.4. Improvements. If you, your employees, or Owners develop any new concept, process or improvement relative to the operation or promotion of an ALL DOGS UNLEASHED business (an "Improvement"), you agree to promptly notify Franchisor and provide Franchisor with all necessary related information, without compensation.

According to the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, All Dogs Unleashed has the right to change and improve its System, including its proprietary training methods. The FDD states that the distinguishing characteristics of the All Dogs Unleashed System include proprietary training methods and other standards that All Dogs Unleashed designates for developing, operating, and managing an All Dogs Unleashed Facility, all of which may be changed, improved, and further developed by All Dogs Unleashed from time to time.
All Dogs Unleashed also has the right to modify the manuals provided to franchisees, which outline the standards, methods, policies, and procedures for operating the franchised business. Franchisees must operate their All Dogs Unleashed business according to these manuals and keep them current. If a franchisee's manual is lost or destroyed, or not returned upon termination of the agreement, there is a $500 replacement fee per manual.
As an All Dogs Unleashed franchisee, you acknowledge that the System, confidential manuals, and the products and services offered by the franchised business may be modified from time to time by All Dogs Unleashed. Franchisees must comply with all such modifications at their own expense and implement any System changes upon receiving notice from All Dogs Unleashed within the timeframe specified by All Dogs Unleashed.
If a franchisee, their employees, or owners develop any new concept, process, or improvement related to the operation or promotion of an All Dogs Unleashed business, they must promptly notify All Dogs Unleashed and provide all necessary related information without compensation. This ensures that All Dogs Unleashed can incorporate successful innovations across the franchise system.
