What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 All Dogs Unleashed Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement does not disclaim representations made in the FDD. The agreement explicitly states that nothing within it is intended to disclaim the representations made in the Franchise Disclosure Document provided to the franchisee before signing the agreement. This means that All Dogs Unleashed franchisees can rely on the information presented in the FDD as part of their decision-making process.
This clause protects the franchisee by ensuring that the franchisor stands by the information provided in the FDD. Franchisees are often required to acknowledge that they are not relying on any representations outside of the FDD, meaning that any promises or assurances made by the franchisor's representatives that are not documented in the FDD are not legally binding.
However, the All Dogs Unleashed franchise agreement also states that no officer, employee, or agent of All Dogs Unleashed has any authority to make any representation or promise not contained in the agreement or in the FDD, and that the franchisee agrees that they have signed the agreement without reliance on any other representation or promise. This reinforces the importance of the FDD as the primary source of information and emphasizes that any verbal promises or representations not included in the FDD or the franchise agreement are not binding on All Dogs Unleashed.
