What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to All Dogs Unleashed's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, for a period of two years after an owner ceases to be an owner, they are restricted from certain activities related to All Dogs Unleashed customers. Specifically, the owner cannot divert or attempt to divert any present or prospective customer of an All Dogs Unleashed franchised business to a competitor. This includes direct or indirect inducement.

Additionally, the owner is prohibited from providing dog training, grooming, or boarding services to any customer or former customer of the franchised business. They also cannot take any actions that could harm the goodwill associated with the All Dogs Unleashed marks and the system. These restrictions apply to any location that is in the service area or within 25 miles of the perimeter of the service area, or within the service area of any other All Dogs Unleashed business in existence or under development at the time the individual ceases to be an owner.

These restrictions are in place to protect All Dogs Unleashed's customer base and brand reputation. The restrictions are tolled during any period of noncompliance, meaning the clock stops on the two-year period if the former owner violates the agreement, and resumes once compliance is restored. This ensures that All Dogs Unleashed can enforce these restrictions effectively.
