What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchise is terminated or not renewed, the franchisee has several obligations. These include paying all outstanding debts to All County, ceasing all use of All County's trademarks and following All County's termination procedures. The franchisee must also transfer all telephone numbers, clients, and accounts of the franchise business to All County or its designee.
Additionally, the franchisee is required to provide All County with all copies of customer lists and cancel any fictitious business names associated with the franchise. Perhaps most significantly, the franchisee must adhere to the non-compete covenant outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
Specifically, after termination or expiration of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee is restricted from operating a similar type of business for a period of 36 months within their Territory or within 50 miles from the outside perimeter of their Territory. This non-compete clause could significantly limit the franchisee's business opportunities after leaving the All County system.
