What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees generally operate within a defined territory. However, there are specific circumstances under which an All County franchisee can provide services to customer accounts located outside of their designated territory.
Specifically, an All County franchisee may provide authorized services to customer accounts located outside their Territory, except that they may not provide services to any customer account located more than 50 miles from their Location without prior written permission from All County. This implies that franchisees have some flexibility to serve clients just outside their territory, up to a 50-mile limit, without needing special approval. However, serving clients beyond that 50-mile radius requires explicit authorization from All County.
It's also important to note that All County itself, or other franchisees, can provide services to customer accounts inside a franchisee's territory, and the franchisee will not be entitled to any compensation for those services. This highlights that while franchisees have some territorial protection, it is not absolute, and All County retains the right to manage national and regional accounts, regardless of location. This also means other All County businesses are allowed to manage properties located in your territory and to place "For Rent" signs and otherwise market these properties.
