What is the relationship required between the Managing Owner and the 'on-premises' manager for an All County franchise?
All_County Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
The person responsible for the day to day management and operation of the Franchise must have successfully completed the pre-opening training. This may be your Managing Owner or a designated "on-premises" manager. The "on-premises" manager need not have an equity share in the Franchise. If you have an "on-premises" manager distinct from your Managing Owner, those two people will need to maintain sufficient contact with one another so that we will not need to contact the "on-premises" manager separately from our contact with the Managing Owner.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the "on-premises" manager for a franchise location does not need to have an equity share in the franchise. The person responsible for the day-to-day management of the All County franchise must have completed the pre-opening training, and this can be either the Managing Owner or the designated "on-premises" manager.
If the Managing Owner and the "on-premises" manager are different people, they must maintain sufficient contact with one another. This is to ensure that All County will not need to contact the "on-premises" manager separately from the Managing Owner. The Managing Owner has the authority to make daily business decisions and is the main point of contact for All County.
This arrangement provides flexibility for All County franchisees. The franchisee can either manage the business themselves or hire a manager to handle the daily operations. However, it's crucial that the Managing Owner remains informed and in control, even if they are not directly involved in the day-to-day management. Maintaining open communication between the Managing Owner and the on-premises manager is essential for the smooth operation of the All County franchise and to ensure compliance with the franchisor's requirements.
