What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, it is expected that you personally review the Franchise Agreement and all associated exhibits. The FDD includes a receipt that states the document summarizes certain provisions of the franchise agreement and other information in plain language, and it explicitly advises you to read the disclosure document and all agreements carefully.
To ensure that prospective franchisees have carefully reviewed these critical documents, All County includes a questionnaire regarding the Franchise Agreement and its exhibits. This questionnaire asks whether you have received and personally reviewed the Franchise Agreement and each exhibit and schedule attached to it. It also asks if you understand all of the information contained within these documents. If you answer "no" to understanding any part of the Franchise Agreement, you are prompted to specify which sections you do not understand.
Furthermore, the questionnaire asks whether you received a copy of the Franchise Agreement at least seven days prior to signing it, allowing you sufficient time to review the document and seek legal counsel if needed. Similarly, it asks whether you have received and personally reviewed the Disclosure Document and whether you understand all the information within it, with a similar prompt to specify any sections you do not understand. This process underscores the importance All County places on ensuring that franchisees are fully informed and understand the terms of their agreement before entering into the franchise relationship.
